Will this O2 sensor work?
Will this O2 sensor work?
This sensor has 4 wires but I just noticed the bank 2 sensors have 3 wires. Will this sensor work (if I splice 3 wires and leave 1 hanging)?
Partstrain.com says the sensor will work for a 2001 Maxima.

Check to see if there is a wiring instruction inside the box. When I replaced mine, there was instruction inside the box. It is pretty straight forward, you just need to solder it.
eh its cheap but i dont know if its compatible. I know for a fact that a Bosch is one of the few aftermarket confirmed O2 sensors that work... thats because the OEM sensors are just Bosch sensors as well they just have the plugs wired in for you.
You might have to use splice connectors, the ones with the ends that can be heat shrunk.
I wasn't able to solder the wires because of the material they were made out of. (Stainless Steel I believe)
