Day after the blizzard........ Codes

O.k so im just hoping this was just some coinsidence of some sort, but after digging my car out the snow yesterday i turned it on and let it warm up, after driving to my job to go get my brother a Xcrap for christmas i realised i had a very odd idle, car would want to sputter randomly... on my way to work today it got way worste, it just sputters all the time and the CEL starts blinking... i decided to go by advance to pull codes and this is what i got... P0303, P0420, P0158, P0442... i didnt look the codes up yet cause for some reason im not finding the long sticky with all the codes... anyways that P0303 (cyl. 3 miss fire) is what is gettn me... my spark plugs are about 3-4months old, what could cause me to blow spark plugs so much?

Those codes are for the 3way catalyst, O2 sensor, #3 cylinder misfire, and a EVAP leak.

I'm think a bad vacuum hose so I would inspect for that. You can check your #3 cyclinder coil by disconnecting the coil while the engine is running, if the engine does not hesitate when you do that, it means the coil/plug is bad.

Yes it is a rear plug, 2nd from the left (or right doesnt matter). Take the bolts that hold in the coil but leave the coil in the engine. Start up the car and then pull out the plug while its running. If the coil is good then the engine will slightly bog, if its bad nothing will happen. Make sure its quiet wherever your doing this cause I had to really listen/look at it to notice. Hell you can even pull any other coil to compare. Good Luck

You could be looking at a leaking injector as well.
