It's just like you friend stated, PB Blaster and a wire brush. Oh, and soak them in PB Blaster for as long as you can; maybe spray some on there once a day for a few days prior.

I am surprised the threaded section is not aluminum.

Im having the same problem with one of my rear k sport coilovers.... I used a toothbrush, which helped somewhat to get some crud out, but stoll no luck.

Ill try PB blaster. Get back to us if you find the magic trick

I'd start by cleaning them up with some fine steel wool then PB blaster to break em loose then use some wheel bearing grease to help them turn smoothly then wipe it all off and reapply a thin coating to keep them from further corroding.

Yup pb blaster, and a brush. After that i would recommend a silicone based grease so you dont have any more corrosion.

The car looks good for a 13.84 car lol!

We will see after my powwwah mods!

Do you have the tool that came with the coilover to adjust them? That always makes it 100x easier.

Spray wd-40 on them like no other and use the tools. You should be ok.

BTW, car looks great, what rims are those?

you should look into getting the threads coated/anodized so you dont have this problem again
