just let you know, this is no OEM, more of a OEM lookalike aftermarket.
OEM ones have a screw in center piece.

Let me know how your trunk closes after adding the OEM spoiler

I put an OEM spoiler on and my trunk slams shut...it does not hold its own weight.

You might have weak gas struts, the wing is fairly light and i dont think it would cause it to slam shut.

quick question, what kind of weather proof meterial did you use between the trunk and the spoiler to prevent water leaking in?

It came with precut foam strips and i also used 3M Strip Calk like what you have on the door panels that hold the vapor barrier on.
