I originally posted this question in the I30/I35 section and thought maybe someone over here may have add'l info.

I saw an I30 on CL with the I35 console and shifter unfortunately the CL post has been deleted so I didn't include it here. In addition to the console and the gated shifter the radio and cluster had also been changed, although I am only interested in the shifter.

I found this thread: http://forums.maxima.org/5th-generat...-done-yet.html which doesn't go into depth about it. I looked through the I30 and I35 FSMs and the wiring is different between the 2 shifters but connection to the tranny seems very similar. Anyone have add'l info?
