Thank you for your suggestions. I hate to ask a stupid question. But will a bra or deflector for a 2000-2001 fit on the 02, the hood is the same right?

Thanks

I'm not sure but the 00-01 full-nose masks/bra's may not fit the 02's due to the larger front fascia.

However, i can speak for the carflector as that's what i have now. It's for the 00-01 but since it's a "hood only" solution it fit the 02 quite nicely.

Someone with the same bra claims that it takes 5+ minutes to install/remove this bra. Can you verify this after you run through
the process.

magnetbra

check it out. i just installed my magnet bra . this bra is nice. it took maybe 10 minutes. my first time. you have to get the hood warm and warm up the bra too. it is kinda tricky to get it centered. the bra is just a big magnet. which is good cuz it seals tight to the hood and prevents almost all water and debris from getting under it.the only spot i can see where water might get under it is at the corners, but minimum. you have to clean/wax the hood before install. and make sure there is absolutely nothing on the underside of the bra and on the hood. or it will show a little bump. i am talking like a piece of thread or anything it will show.thats how tight it fits. they have one for auction on ebay right now.
the site is:

i spelled it wrong last thread sorry.
put some mcguires vinyl protectent on it and your good to go. i will let everyone know how it holds up.
later

Re: Installation of 3M

I'm not sure if it was the 3M brand but Performance Tints along Westheimer (about a mile from the galleria, should be on your left. it's also beside Bubble Car Wash) quoted me on those clear bra's when i had my ride tinted.

It wasn't cheap i tell you, almost $500 (tax incl.) for the front bumper up to 24" (rough estimate) up the hood plus the front portion of the side view mirrors.

Try Executive Motoring Boutique on Gessner (N. of I-10) they told me around $300 for hood, bumper, and mirrors. Probably could get them to throw in the lights and fogs for not much more if anything.

I use them for Tinting(2 Altimas, 2 Maximas, Suburban, Expy, Silverado) and Alarms and they do a great job. Ask for Jon (owner) tell him that Jeff the guy with the Expy and Max sent you there and he can get you some great deals along with most of the salesmen there.
