Wire Halo leds to switch

I just ordered a pair of headlights with halos in them. I just wanted to know how to wire these halos to a SPST switch so i can turn them off whenever i want. Also, do i need a relay or fuse? Thanks!

should be pretty straight forward just wire them up to the switch. i wouldnt see why u would need anything for them. power to the switch from the batt then power to the lights. if u use a lighted switch then u will need to run a ground wire for the light.

If you don't want the halos on if you forget to turn them off, you should wire the power for them to a source that is only on when ignition is turned on (like the cigarette lighter wire), and then put a switch on that wire. That's what I did.

Yeah thats a really good idea! So just to make sure...run the wires from the halos into the ACC slot on switch, then tap the cig wire and connect that to the Power on the switch, and then just ground it?

Yes. And the ground wire is only if you have a switch with a light in it.
