Gunmetal bumper, or body colored bumper? (Pics)
Got the car back from the shop today. Here are some photos:
Should I keep the bumper as is or paint it? I'm going to live with it for two weeks before I decide.

wait.. lemme get this straight...
you want to paint the entire bumper a different color then the car...?
please leave it, if you want to introduce a new color there are many other more tasteful ways to go about it...
if im wrong and ur talking about the grill im sorry.. lol

ok i feel better now... i actually couldnt even tell your grill wasn body matched untill close inspection..
how about leave it to match but black out the chrome ring around it (
trim brite tape[works great]) and AE your headlights... i think that would make the front end tie together nicely

Now that you mention blacking out the rim, it'd make the AE headlights tie in very nicely, but I'm scared to do the AE because I can't tell if I'm going to like them with the sunlit. i'll have to see more pictures.

I get that you clarified meaning the grill, and not the bumper. But I don't get how it came back from the shop with a big dent in the passenger front fender. Is that some before/after picture?
My opinion, paint the grill gun metal gray.

There was a dent in it before. I haven't gotten repaired yet.

I personally don't like a body color painted grill, but its your car. If you like it, leave it. I think the solid flat area behind the grill and center vertical should be painted black. Mask off the grill and spray it flat black. Also, see if the body shop will spray the chrome trim the body color too.

I just had my grill painted body color (majestic blue) and I love the way it looks. i left the burger chrome. i have also considered painted the door pillars and chrome door trim to match to body color ... my goal is to make the car look clean ... that's a good thing right? in any case, to each his own. if we all did the same things with our cars, we would be a very boring group.
