HELP! H4 Bulb installation

OK I get the Moron award for the week. My Manuals are *still* on order at the dealer so .... no reference material. I figure "heck headlight bulbs shouldn't be too tough and I REALLY want to see what the PIAA Xtreme whites are going to look like." Well I have it to the point that i need to remove the bulb from the harness and can't get the little bugger out.

after you pull back the rubber boot, there are two thin copper colored metal clips that hold the bulb upright. squeeze them together and it will let the bulb come out. then it should come out of the harness. to make it easier if you have to do it again, use some bulb grease on the prongs on the back of the bulb.

Are you talking about the clips that get it out of the housing? I got those .... I'm trying to get the bulb out of the actual wiring harness and having 0 luck.

Thanks for the help.

sometimes pulling out the bulb from the H4 socket can be tough... use some dielectric grease so you don't have that problem next time
