considering buyign these springs,want opinions...

Ok so this guy on craigslist got a set of springtech springs for sale 1.8 inch drop all around he says,he wants 75 bucks for them he claims to have installed them them removed them because he has big wheels and they rub,does anyone know the ride quality vs stock??

Without after-market struts, it'll feel like ****, honestly.

I've got Progress springs on factory struts. The drop is about the same. The ride is...jarring to say the least.

Well, id obviously be changing my shocks and struts as mine are factory and my max got 191k on it....i want to know how the ride would be with the springs on in general because i dont want to feel like im driving a dodge 3500

Well I havent used either but I had k sport lowering springs with stock SE struts and I thought the ride should have been stiffer. Although I wish my k sport coilovers were stiffer... Hmm

Okay, I wasn't sure how you were proposing the question.

Either way, even with new struts, the ride will still be a lot rougher than stock. Any time you lower your car, you'll lose some ride comfort, unless you go with coilovers.

mrood: I've heard the K-sports have a pretty soft compression rate. But it might also have to do with the fact that our cars tend to naturally have a lot of body roll...
