SSIM question

sup people, so i searched for the SSIM and i cant find a (how to) or (DIY) for it?, also does any one know where to get this done? i know a member on here (KRRZ350) does it for $100 but hasnt answered any of my PM's. any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

remove the shelf with the tools of your choice. taking off the mani is the easy part.

yea takin the manifold off is no problem, but when it comes to removing the shelf, is there a perferred technique or tool used? hand saw?lol

You'd be better off finding one here for sale. It is a very time consuming job that a few people have the patience to tackle.

Sorry for late post on this, do you SSIM guys remove the shelve on the elbow or only on the actual manifold?

You can't really get the whole shelf out of the elbow in my experience, but I did dig into the elbow as much as I could

Th "OG" SIMS's didn't have any modification done to the elbow.
