ABS kicks on when it shouldnt?

ABS kicks on when it shouldnt?

i was driving the car today, and i noticed that when i slow down to a stop, i feel the abs kicking in. this is on dry roads. any ideas what it could be? no abs light on the dash either..

thoughts?

Can you hear the ABS mechanism engaging, or just feel it?

probably one wheel speed sensor is not working properly
and on dry road ABS could also kick in, if you just touch the brakes it kicks in then you have a problem

Yup. Check for loose connections? Or dirt. A little bit of dirt went a long way to eff up one of my TB connections until I cleaned it out...

bumping this back up. talked to a few friends, and no one knows why the abs light isnt lit on the dash with the abs kicking in all the time. i pulled the fuse today, as im sure if the abs is coming on all the time, something expensive is gonna break. I cant get under the car for a few days, we just got a foot of snow.
