I'd like to see some pics of one done in a 5th Gen... I saw one done in a 4th gen and it looked kinda like someone took the radiator out of their house and put it in their engine!!! If it looks that ugly, I dont know if I can swing it! Has anyone with a 5th Gen done this mod yet?!?!? Make yourself known!! We need feedback!
By the way kev thats so not your car
And that intercooler should be wider i don't like seeing the piping out front

What you prob saw was an air to water intercooler if it was in the engine or just a lazy cheap guy. What kev posted is a front mount air to air intercooler and works pretty good should give you another 30 or so hp. And i like ive said i know the guy that did do it.

It's an oilcooler .. not an intercooler for the Max ... it's part # 400500 ... is an oil cooler diff from an intercooler?Here's the pic ...

The amount of power gain vary's but yeh 30 hp can be easyily expected. YOu can't have one on a na car just s/c or turboed (forced induction)cars. And an intercooler cost a bare min of around 600-700 bucks with no pipes you'd still have to get them made, and as for you tranny you mean a tranny oil cooler not a intercooler
