Subframe

didnt search, cuz im kinda in a panic. my subframe is rusted out, and needs to be replaced. is this a pattern failure in our cars? anyone know how much this is gonna cost me? my mechanic tells me he wouldnt drive the car over 50mph in the shape its in.

Judging by the way the rest of these cars rust, I am not surprised at all. I always rust proof my cars.

Im very interested in how to rust proof and also remove rust.

i didnt have a camera with me, so i know this thread is practically worthless, but trust me, it was bad, and it had to be replaced. surprised, too, the previous owner allegedly "simonized" the undercarriage.
