Illumina clunk

I have been searching for the source of my front end clunk noise. I found the source is my front passenger side illumina strut. When I push down on the passenger side fender I can hear a clunk noise. The noise is only there when the illuminas are set to 3 or 4. If set to 1,2 or 5 there is no noise. Anyone else ever have this issue?

Sure it's not your passenger side motor mount?

I thought it was so I replaced it. By changing the settings on the strut the noise comes and goes depending on the setting. I'm wondering if anyone else has had this prodlem and if so did they get the strut replaced under warranty.
