hey guys, i'm still having the problem with my car (i cant rev it above 4000rpms or else it begins to choke, if i baby the gas pedal i can make it to 5000rpms). Today i noticed the third part of my muffler (the thing that holds the exhaust tip, and has a big oval looking thing to clean the exhaust air) was completely disconnected from the rest of my exhaust... Do you guys think this may be the problem why i cant rev??

 

I doubt it. if the exhaust system plugs up, then the engine can't rev. I don't know what to suggest other than see if the car is throwing anycodes.

 

You need a new MAF most likely.

 

yeapppp went to the junk yard got a maf, switched it revs fine now.... My exhaust is disconnected... will this do any damage to my engine because i really like the sound
