It's kind of like being "high fashion." It might be uncomfortable and itchy, but dammit, that $350 sweater vest from Banana Republic just looks so great matched with that starchy $140 button up shirt from Armani Exchange.

Thank God our cars have a live rear axle. I'd hate to see a 5.5 gen rolling around looking like that Silvia.

I saw a new Camaro lifted on 22's today. I almost cried. It looked so terrible.

OP, IMHO, the wheels look awkwardly wide. But then again, I've never been a big fan of the "deep-dish" lips on our cars. I think that our cars look much better with positive offset wheels.
The New camaro is designed in a manner in where it kinda NEEDS big wheels, and I know for a fact that he shouldn't have to lift for 22s, hell they can fit 24s wit almost no problem. But don't listen to me, im one of the few on here who likes big wheels lol

Maybe they were even bigger than that. All I know was that he had big, big rims and tires, and they were enough to give it a ride height taller than our stock Maxima.

It looked god awful.

your lucky to be in Cali, my rims and tires poke out about that much and know i need some body work done after a few winters of kicking up salt and sand into my fenders near the doors.

They look pretty sick on your car though.

This can potentially look real good. It needs to go alot lower though. Hurry up and get those coilovers! lol

I was thinking about going with something with a huge lip for my next set of wheels.

Not sure if this has been asked already since I didn't read every post, but are you sure the offset is a +45? It looks to be a much lower offset even for a 9.5 as to how far it sits out. If you look at The Law's, his rears are +29 and they're still fully inside the fenderwell with his 9.5. Just wanted to verify.

Pic stolen from The Law.

O, I missed that part then. What size spacers are being ran here?

Just going off this picture below, looks like it's a 25mm spacer or even bigger. That's huge.

That fitment looks superb. I think smoked markers and 2001 tails would really complete this picture.

That would be too much contrast on a light colored car. It's the same reasoning why clear/silver lenses can look awkward on a dark colored car. It's all about balance.

I assume you're predisposed because of existing and familiar choices, and all opinions are personal. But color contrast is pretty basic criteria when establishing visual appeal. Here's another way to look at it: there's a reason why most people don't wear white shoes.

Um, outside of Florida, that is.

IMO, colors like white, dark blue and black look good with smoked markers. White can pull off clear, too. I've got cleared fronts. I left my rear markers red, though...just to break up the monotony a bit.

However, colors like silver, sunlit sand and metallic grey lustre look better offset with clear markers.

Tungsten blue and merlot, IMO, look just fine with OEM markers. That's just my opinion, though.

Oh yeah? Well I've got about 1/2" of wheel gap in the front. And none in the back. On springs.

But that's partly because I have oversized tires.

I'll have coils soon enough.
