NWP spacers
NWP spacers
I would like to hear some peoples input on these...

spacers supposedly prevent heat transfer / improve air flow

Maybe since the OP is driving an Anniversary Edition, he's looking for opinions specific to NWP spacers on the VQ30DEK, and not phenolic spacers in general.
Hard to tell, however. Let's watch.

The DEK's intake manifold is plastic composite so it does not have the heat soak issues that the VQ35 intake manifold has. So in theory, the spacers will still decrease intake temperatures, however not by much. I'm sure you would be able to pick up some useable whp, however there's no dyno on record of a DEK with these spacers.
Come to think of it, there are barely any modded DEK dynos on record these days.

it makes a huge difference in manifold air temps. we had two 5.5's idleing for about a half hour, one of them you couldnt even touch for two seconds literally and the other you could rest your hand on all day no prob. the spacers/bop make big power for the money IMO
Yes I was talking about my specific car, I am sorry I keep forgetting to note that I have a 3.0
You are right though about the lack in information on modded DEK's I have been searching and stuff and cannot seem to find very many
mods to do to it,...
-Y pipe
-Headers
-Exhaust
-Manifold spacers
-Intake
-UDP
-Tourque link brace
-STS
-clutch/flywheel
Those are all the N/A mods I could seem to find in my searching so if anybody has any more a PM would be much appreciated,
and I think that I will put these spacers on my shopping list haha, I wasn't aware that the company that makes them was a trusted sponsor
because I found them googling throttle body upgrades (which I could not find any) does anybody know of a company that does a T.B spacer
for the 3.0? Because these guys seem to only have manifold ones for my engine,
Thanks

. But my dyno wont have a true reflection of spacer gains on a dek
that's the same thing i was wondering!!! after a long drive i can rest my hand on top of the intake manifold and leave it there for a good 30 secs before my hand gets too hot.
why did the VQ35's go back to regular alluminum???
