nice mod.....wrong type of car to put it on.the maxima isnt a luxury car and you're putting on a mod that was initiated BY a luxury car. that mod barely looks ok on my infiniti. just my .02

Is the strip mounted inside the housing, or beneath it? Looks good, props for the DIY.

looks good. thought about doing this myself

5 liter... i dont understand why you think that whether or not a car is a "luxury" model should constitute something as trivial as a lighting setup. thats like saying i shouldnt have HIDs cuz they originated on escalades and benzos

......well Audi IS the luxury brand division for VW and actually the R8 isnt the only model equipped with the Audi style LED's. if i recall correctly, the A8, the A6, the A5 and i think even the A4's even have it (not sure about the last one).
again, nice mod...i just thinks it's a little too "ricey".

HID's are a commonly advanced and widely distributed product to help benefit us all to see better at night.
the mod he did is curently known as the AUDI led style mod (or something along those lines); and Audi is the 1st manufacturer to create and install that style of lighting of their vehicles.
this new wave of lighting style is just like the wanna-be racer fever that swept the late 90's and early 2000's where everyone had to install "Altezza's" on every car ranging from a Ford expedition to a Honda Accord. sadly i think even 3rd and 4th gen maximas were affected by this "trend".
and this new style of lighting is available to pretty much any car now. check out IJDMtoy.com and see all the cars they make the lights for. on some applications it looks awesome (the lexus's, infiniti's) but on some cars i hate the way it looks.
again....its just personal opinions. : 0

no too ricey would be leds all over the place with blue or red or green colors i simple placed one strip inside the headlights that is white the same color as the light itself and to b honest ive never seen this done to a car in person n i live around a million ricers

if you go back and read post #12 , i was agreeing to his statement that led's all over the place and of different color would look realy ricey. i only have led's in one location which is is my headlight housing.
