I've had Shock Top, I like unfiltered beers, but would prefer Blue Moon over it.

For regular drinking I've been on a Sapporo kick lately. I'm no beer snob, but I like it. Surprised no one mentioned Guinness. A lot of people I know LOVE it.

 

Sapporo is greatness...I like Guinness, but it's an acquired taste. You either love it or you hate it.

 

Rice beer gives me a headache. (count Bud among the ricers. Too bad 'cause its taste isn't too bad on the cheap)

Yuengling Lager for everyday ($18/24, live near orig. brewery);

Ice-cold Becks premium 64 cal to pound all day during the dog days;

Guiness, Sammy's, Westmalle Tripel for major flavor; and

when I can get it... Hacker-Pschorr Okotberfest in the 0.5 liter bottles FTMFW! (much, much better than their 12 oz 6-pack export stuff)

... sorry if I ramble, been stuck in Belgium due to the F---'n ash cloud and been drinking Trappist beer all evening. Oh well, could be worse, much worse.

 

Oh I love Guinness too, but that beer is almost a meal by itself! I'm not saying this is a bad thing sometimes but I'm the type of beer drinker that likes to munch on something generally unhealthy while drinking.

 

Because U Deserve What Every Ironworker Surely Enjoys Regularly.

 

Guinness is what I will drink any day of the week and twice on Sunday.



I'm a senior in college and I can honestly say I have drank some of the worst beer in the world (ie 4 day old warm keg beer) and some of the best beer in the world (ie yuengling, guinness (on tap), sam adams summer ale).

I have realized that good beer is meant to be full of flavor and for that to be happen it has to be heavier.

Doesn't mean I don't still drink crappy beer, but if this is a discussion of favorite beer then all bets are off.

That is my reasoning for Guinness... and I'm Irish.

Also... A pet peeve of mine is when a guy just sips his beer, beer should be drank (drunk?) not gently sipped.

 

Im shocked that no on mentioned YUENGLING out of PA which is easily the best beer for the buck. Similar in taste to Dos Equis Amber, but at the price of Bud. I dont think they distribute north of CT or very far west though. If you see it and havnt tried it, drink it!
