Starts like timing is off
Did a search and did not find similar symptoms.
Only when cold and intermittantly, it cranks and then seems like it kicks back like the timing is off. So it will crank for a few revolutions, then stop, then start and sputter stop the starter again, then crank, and eventually fire off. Sometime the hesitation in the starter goes away then it just cranks for a long time.
So I was thinking maybe crank/cam sensors. Looked at the cam and no oil in connector like I have read on here of having issues with, and no codes.
When warm it pops right off. Just when the motor is cold from sitting over night , not a outside cold temperature issue either. It started happening a couple years ago, but was very intermitant, and now it is almost always when cold.
I also added grounds thinking this was it.
