While we are on the subject of rattles......
Has anyone had a problem with a vibration or rattle noise coming from their rear deck lid right behind the back seats? I dont have a Bose system so there is no woofer to "rattle" it loose....
The best I can pinpoint where the noise is coming from is from the middle seat belt holder.....if you look at it from inside the trunk, the seatbelt coils up in little white boxes attached to the underside of the lid. If I tap or lightly bang around this area, it seems that lttle white box is making the noise...but it might not be..
Has anyone else had this fixed? Always see folks asking about the Apillar and radio creaks but I haven't seen this one mentioned.....or is this a new one for my Max aka home of the squeaky engine mounts

I have a sub in my trunk, and I too thought I had a bad rattle coming from the rear deck..
The rattly in my car ended up actually being the license plate.. I had to put some rubber around the inside edges to clear it up.
I still have a slight rattle from the rear deck, but the bass volume clearly overtakes it now.

same thing here
i got that rattle too. ialso used the volume *** to fix it too. hahah i'm planning to either dynomat the rear deck and see if that helps, or dynomat and refabricate the whole rear deck. i no longer use the stock woofer anymore so i need to seal that hole up because of the way i fired my subs (towards the cabbin) but most likely it's those plastic pins getting loose.
Does anyone have a rattling, humming noise from the dash/passenger air vents???mine starts when i turn right. It'll go away after 10-15 seconds or when i switch off the heater/ ac fan. can somebody pls help????
I think of myself as a sort of rattle fixing aficionado lol. The rattle on your rear deck is probably coming from the vents closest to the window. Play your music and push down on it and see if the noise stops. There are these clips that have to be in slots on the physical deck that keep it in place and keep it from rattling. Hard to get them all in. Every time something is taken apart and put back together it is very easy to miss something. To JoshMachine, Take the vent assembly out and check that it is solidly connected to the clock assembly. That could be your rattle source
