i followed the write up here http://www.cardomain.com/ride/631349/3 to convert my radio to LEDs. i tested the new circuit i created a bunch of times with the 9v battery before i put it in my car. i put the radio back together spliced into the Climate Control light(the ones that shines on the shifter) put everything back together and the lights all worked but the some of the radio buttons didnt so i took it all apart again and taped down the circuit to make sure it wasnt causing a problem i put it back together put it in my car, plugged it in, and now all lights i mentioned in title are out. i tested again the radio to make sure it wasnt that and the lights stay on with the 9v so im guessing i grounded somewhere i have no idea where to start looking but im hoping i popped a fuse but i dont know what one to start looking at?????

also is it possibly for me to overload the circuit it seems like a lot of things are on the same system and i have recently replaced all interior bulbs to LED this was the last mod to do.

p.s dome light, indigo door sills, courtsey door lights all work

LEDs aren't likely to blow a fuse or overload the circuit, considering that they draw way fewer volts than traditional bulbs. Now, if you have some crossed wires, or a bad ground, I can see that potentially shorting the whole radio out, or causing a fuse to blow. Check the fuses in the interior panel. First one to check would be the radio fuse itself.

If all looks good, all you can do is recheck the wiring again. Even if the fuse is blown, I wouldn't replace it until you re-check the wires. The fuse blew for a reason.

ok so for anyone in the future reading this if any of your lights(that i have mentioned above) go out (THIS IS FOR 00-01) go right to the fuse box next to ur battery and pull the one that says TAIL LAMP its a 10Amp fuse first one on left side. i recommend pulling that first when u are installing any Leds in ur car because by the end of the day yesterday putting all my interior back in i probably blew that fuse 3 times so pull it and put together one thing at a time and test it like plug radio in test circuit put CC in test circuit this way if u put in leds backward like i did a few times on the light shining down on the shifter and ashtray light youll know what is causing the fuse to blow. most your interior is on that circuit except for dome light, doorlights those are on fuse box next to ur foot on drivers side i think its called the electrcal parts fuse 12 or 13 i believe
