1.What is the difference between an Expensive HKS system compared to a custom exhaust?
2.Is there any way to make our MAXIMAS lighter?

2. Strip out your interior, take out your spare and jack, etc.

lighter?

A few things that you can do.

1. Always keep your gas tank below 1/4 full.
2. Remove your spare
3. Remove you jack
4. Remove your trunk linings
5. Don't keep unesseray objects..ie.. cd's, change, books
6. Replace your seats with lighter recaro's, sparco's
7. don't put amps and a big heavy woofer box.
8. Remove some sound deadening from the trunk and inside
9. Remove the Padding underneath the carpet...
10. Reomve your rear seat.
11. Have a custom made carbon fiber Hood and replace
12. replace your stock rims with super light Volks
13. remove your stock air box.
14. replace your stock mufler and y-pipe. with lighter ones
15. remove all heatshields from your exhaust sys.
16. Keep your windshield washer to a minimum level.
17. Or throw away your windshiel washer reservoir
18. Remove your spark plug covers.
19. replace your steel Flywheel with an Alumimum one
20. Remove your A/C, Power Steering, ABS, Power window motor,Radio, Speakeres,
21. Don't EVER give a ride to FAT chicks.
22. And last but not least... GET YOUR *** UP AND START RUNNING.... and shave some pounds off....

quite a list there .... so i guess after everything's said and done, all you'll be pushing is four wheels! hahah LOL PEACCEEE

Don't forget about cutting a hole in the floor pan and using your feet to brake. Removing the rotors, calipers, master cylinder, brake pedal, brake lines, and brackets is good for 90-100 pounds

Hell... chop the top off and make it a 4 door convertible... seriously.... I know people who have done this to their CRX's... and those things weigh less than my left nut.
