Maxima power seat help needed

Does anyone here know if the power seat motor and drive for the non-memory seat will work in a car with the memory seat setup?

I would think so, because the memory seat function is controlled by another part of the car. The motor should function the same as the previous one. I could be wrong, but I have had the motor of the drivers seat replaced on my moms Lexus Ls430 and I was not informed about anything special about the motor. It just used another seat motor that i bought through the Lexus dealership. I could be wrong but I hope I have help at least some. Good luck!

Doesn't look like it will: memory seat motor is actually called 'device' as it has additional built in sensor telling seat control unit if motor is turning. 'Manual' motor doesn't have such sensor as you know better anyway .

Im 100% sure its not going to work. Each car company makes there mem seats a diffrent way. Nissan has a ecu looking box on the bottom of the driver seat; this is the brain for all memmory functions. Without this you will not have power seats. You must switch the motor and the mem box to the doner seat, and its going to be a bit of wiring.

All I need from the used seat I will be buying is the motors, So the box and such will remain intact. I may just buy it and compare them, just don't want to spend the $50 and find out it's not compatible. I have enough problems with my motorcycle right now
