Nwp spacers just came in at same time as the rims and the vafc-2. This is just a picture moment

They're 18x8" all around.
Tires will be 245/40/18 or possible 255/35/18.. undecided yet..

After reading your spacers thread today, I hope you actually read the instructions for the VAFC.

Nah! Just hack into it with some wire cutters and black tape! You probably don't even need to be sober.

hahahah Nah, I got that hooked up pretty easy. I left the maf wire however because I didn't want that cut until dyno day. I'll run the white/yellow wire to the maf/ecm from the afc that day. Hopefully monday..

That's a good point. Once you go down that road, you're never actually done. The only "last" performance mod you do will be to buy a faster car.

Moncef, the OP is no Newb. He's been here far longer than I have, and he turns his own wrench. Although he did say he's only 18. So if he's been around here since 2007... yikes! The kid's got it in his blood, it seems.

e-sub, you should keep this thread going with pics of your car with the new rims, pics of your VAFC and ongoing analysis for what you're doing with it. I'm pretty ignorant about piggybacks, and would like know more without having to troll around the Adv Performance forums.

Apreciate that rochester. I have been turning my own wrench for a while, and learning and making mistakes is all part of the experience.

I also am learning at the moment on piggybacks, it's something i've been reading about for a while now. Hope to understand it more once I'm speaking to my friend whose dyno tuning my car.

I have had noob moments, however at 18, and turning my own wrench unlike most the people who comment on my screw ups, I take no shame. I'd have an idle problem installing these spacers and spending the extra hour taking everything back apart and fixing it (Reffering to my nwp thread) and save myself 100+ dollars of labor than have someone else touch my car and I take the credit for it. Unlike tons everything done on my car was done by me. I've literally got my time and blood in this car......

Appreciate the help guys. I'm out of town now but will be back monday. Dyno tune tuesday (hopefully) and i'll instal rims and tires right after that gets done!

CAn't wait! Pics will be up!

Gotta find something else, If I up it to a 3" exhaust I might go into mild cams/lifters/valves.. Idk yet, That's going to take much more reading on though before I'm comfortable doing some head work on my motor. I preffer to fully understand something before attempting it myself..

Time shall tell.. Either the above or a new car once I get tired of modding this one, but I don't see that happening anytime soon..

Haha^ thnx, as stated. I'll do plenty of reading before I attempt anything. I've never really read too much into it since i've never considered it..

But we shall see.

Hopefully dyno day + wheels tomorrow. Will post dyno numbers, as well as pics anda vid if I get a chance to grab one. Vafc is hooked up and ready to go... Dam those wires have NO slack what to ever! haha. Like finding a needle in a hay stack..

Alright alright^ yeesh, haha.

I gotta get my car running first.. It would start than die right after. After checking everything I think I see the problem. Looks like there's too much gasket sealer on the lower i/m that leads into intake ports.... seems like it might be blocking my fuel injectors. Time to re-rip everything off again and see if that's the problem. Cross your fingers.

Edit: Fixed!

Dyno day today, if I can't catch them than tomorrow. Pics up at the end of the week.
