Wow. Those red on black wheels on a black car look sooo good. Congrats on your "last mods" ... HA! yeah right... if you're anything like me (and I know you are, cuz you've come even further than me with mods) you won't be able to stop. The itch will start again if it hasn't already

I'm no gear head, but you can't help but get a sense of what's good after reading the Org regularly... and 243 is worth bragging about. You should be pleased.

What are your list of mods for this? That was EXACTLY what I had on a Mustang dyno when I had GAB, 2.5" exhaust, test pipe, spacers, VIAS BOP.

For internet comparisons, dynojet is the way to 'compare' shlong size, since MD's & DD's have load inertia input settings, (weight/rmp rate, etc) and those settings will need to be known and set the same before an apples to apples comp can be made.

Exactly, There wasn't a dynojet around so I hit 243.2 whp.. After that on an dyno dynamics dyno I was extremely happy. We let my car cool down for 5 minutes and hit 243whp! All pulls were done in fourth gear. I came in there with my first run at 201 whp hahaha. I was running so rich it wasn't even funny. Darius at intense motorsports can seriously tune. I'm beyond pleased. I'm sure i'd break 250+ (not trying to go over board as much as I want too) on a dynojet.

List of mods areeeeeeeeeeee..........

Obx v2 headers,
Test pipe,
2.5' catback
Cattman replica muffler
Vias delete.
Wai. (soon to be upgraded) Shtiy restrictive filter
nwp spacers.
Tuned on vafc-2.

He was explaining to me that the dyno they had (dyno dynamics) read pretty low since it wasn't a dyno jet. On run 1 at 201 whp and 198 wtq my heart dropped. However I was mainly going in honestly looking to just get a better stronger car with the tune. I was already pleased with how it pulled and was pretty positve there's no way I was around that lower hp range lol. Running right between 13.0 afr than past 4.5k right around 12.5. Best warm engine pull was 234.7. Best pull that day after letting car cool down was 243. I got a vid on my fb Post it up in a few.

Depends on the settings. I've seen people do 250 on a DD and 212 on a DJ, and 310 on a DD and 380 on a DJ.

It's all in the DD settings.

Still, you gained a boatload on the dyno which you had your baseline, which is a true show of gains.

Yeah, I was definitely in luck. I went by puppetmasters write up for installing the vafc-2. The throttle was in the wrong place, we (me and dyno guy darius) went back and grabbed a few pinouts from apexis site. The throttle was a few over to the left I believe. However the maf did the same thing as he said. It was retarded as hell, after 30 minutes of letting the car sit and reset the ecu we started it and it all worked fine..... Weird... Guess it does need to relearn, the ecu that is.

He's already convincing me to swap to a 3" that he'd fab up (not shiyt quality by any means) and upgrade my intake. I'm already anxious but i'm going to wait up a few months before I do that.... Gotta let the mod bug chill.

I'm not digging the red lip on the rims, but since they're black they need something, silver would be my choice... but that's a detailed kind of nit. Those rims works well on your black car. Um, caps?

What's the decal on the front of your skirts? And don't get me wrong - I'm not hating on it! I'm just curious.

Listen to the pro^.

Lowered on k-sports.

245/40/18 all around.
rims are 18x8. with 35 offset.

Also the center caps fit on the front fine. The hub gets in the way for the rear I'll try again in a little.. Rear needs 10mm spacers anyways.. Hopefully that does it. If not i'm painting the hub black.

Well.. I just ran into a problem.. At wot or 60+mph if I go to nuetral the car dies out. ONLY at wot and highway. My tuner told me yesterday that he can't fix the afr at that rpm using the vafc-2? Is there a way to adjust idle with our cars since it's not a drive by wire? It's either running extremely rich or lean at that level........ And I don't feel too safe having it stall out on me randomly.

You might have the context wrong, but our cars are drive by wire (DBW). Maybe you meant cable. What RPM are we talking about?

I did mean dbw, my bad. It simply either will continue falling as if it's in neutral till it stalls out, or will just go down to about 300rpm, kick back up to 400 than die.. Also tach and abs went crazy yesterday on a run I was doing. Everything seems to be plugged in fine though since it will rev past 2.5k. And i'm receiving throttle response. It was just random as hell, My other thread goes into more detail about it.. "problems after tune". Check it out if you don't mind.
