ball joint replacement What Brand?

I need to replace my passenger side ball joint.

Is moog better than duralast? Someone mentioned on a thread that Moog ball joints stretch the LCA's? Not sure what he meant by this.

Or should I go with a NAPA ball joint? NAPA has 3 to offer from cheap to expensive: Master Ride Chassis ($34), Altrom ($43) and NAPA($58).

I also came across Raybestos ball joints for around $43 shipped.

What do you all recommend?

i just replaced mine about a month ago, and i went with Napa brand ball joints, they are a direct fit...

Moog are good , but are more difficult to install because it " stretches " the hole the ball joint sits in.

which means you have to press them in ...i used Moog ball joints when i had my Sentra, and they were a pain to install

Thank you, was it exactly the NAPA brand or one of the products they carried. Do you remember how much you paid for it?

i just removed the snap ring holding in the old ball joint and used a big hammer to knock it out. Then i used the ball joint tool ( we have as a shop tool ) to press in the new ball joint. With the Moog ball joint i had to remove the whole control arm and use a shop press to pres them in, with the standard OEM replacement i used the ball joint tool.

yeah if you buy the Advance Auto ball joint or the Autozone ball joint they will let you use the ball joint tool to press in the new ball joint.
I used our shops ball joint tool and the new ball joint went in , piece of cake. Then just install the snap ring and there it is.
