2003 g35 sedan MAF works?

So I've been annoyed with my maf a little delayed so I figured since I have a g35 sedan in the shop right now while it's being worked on I can take the MAF and put it in my 5.5gen maxima and perhaps narrow down my problem if it's the TB or the maf. Any thoughts would be great. Thanks.

I don't think it'll work, tell us how it goes if you try it out.

If it is an early model 03, it just might. Let us know.

I was thinking the same thing^ Early model 03 G35s share the same ECU (pinout at least) as our 02-03 maximas.

Does anyone have any specifics re: mfg date when the 03 G35's turned to the latter ECU style (Z33/A34, etc)?

Ok, havent found the exact build dates, but I did find that if the ECU harness has a GREY colored connector, it is the early ECU. If it has a BLACK connector, it's the later ECU.

I'm scared of frying my ecu. I don't know if I should try but I will check the pin connector on it to see if they are grey or black.
