Side View Mirror Defrost....

Is it suppose to work on the driver side and passenger side mirrors?
I could have sworn that it use to work on both sides , but now it only works on the driver side.
Thanks All!!!

I think it was with the Meridian package... I got everything except that and I don't have heated mirror(s).

help me out here...where on the sales sheet will it say what package I got? My car is a 2001 Se 25th anniversary edition. Isn't that top of the line with no options?

That's pretty impressive. Anybody else have a 25th AE? Better yet, does anybody have a 1976 Maxima...I want to see pictures?

I'm just ragging on you...its the 20th Anniversary Edition. Anyway. I have an AE as well and the Meridian Package is still an option. If you have heated seats, you have the Meridian Package and the side mirror defrosters...that's the easiest way to tell.

You may be confused by the fact that, although the AE technically still has options (on paper), I'm guessing it never reached a dealership without all the options as it was targeted as the top-end Maxima as Limited Editions usually are. You probably have the Meridian Edition package.

Wow big h! You got a 25th Anniversary Edition Maxima??? That is 5 years ahead of it's time!
Just teasing you alittle...
You have a 20th Anniversary Maxima SE, just like I do. I do have the Meridian package... so I am not crazy, both sides did work before. Damn... that means a trip to the dealer is needed
Thanks for your input guys!

Go somewhere really cold and see if they defrost? That's a good question...but I can't think of any way to test them unless you actually had them fogged up and if they never fog up, then who cares?

Canadian SEs and GLEs (2000, 2001) have them, both sides. I think the U.S. Meridian (sp?) has them too.

I start the car, hit the seat heat, the rear defrost and start scraping the windows. The passenger mirror is warm (steam comming out) by the time I make it around.

Trust me man! I live in the coldest capital city in the world. Ottawa, Ontario Canada. My car will be burried in snow and ice so it ain't about fog!
