Why isnt this thread locked already, it's already in the stickies that the stock headers with precats are the best for power...
especially on 3.5s when the precats break and get sucked into the engine...the more oil you use, the more power you make!

I had some lengthy discussions with Puppetmaster about that very thing a little while ago... did some informal polling and made some recommendations. He was very gracious about the proposals (Joel is really nice guy), but the final answer was, "No. Not now."

For the most part, we're on our own, Hustler. Self-moderate.

Yea I met him before... actually we raced on the strip once (1-0 Hustle )... we do kinda need moderators, irish is no longer moderating either so we have even less... I would love to go in on that...

I know, and I do agree, even though it might seem otherwise when I tease you and Sooner.

I think our forum is falling victim to natural market trends. An increasingly cheaper car leading to younger demographics. (No offense.)

You could always trade-up to a 7th gen.

but be nice about it?

i can tell you why they dont need mods...the people that run the place dont care if its moderated...and they stoped letting mods do their job...which is why most of them stopped being mods

That's your prerogative, Sooner. Interaction is how we experiment with our sense of self, and doing so in a predominately negative manner is bad karma. But whatever floats your boat, man. Values are personal.

The Org hierarchy isn't exactly common knowledge. I'm pretty sure this cat named DanNY is the sole owner and beneficiary, but that's conjecture on my part. I'm also guessing there's enough revenue from memberships and advertisements to make it profitable as a part-time business. It's probably very profitable, from the POV of money-vs.-time. And in the final analysis, financial gains are the juice, the motivation, that keeps the Org afloat.

That's probably the core of your discontent, Sooner. There's no changing that situation... unless you buy the Org.

None taken... I will most likely never buy a maxima above th 5.5 as I don't really like the others... isn't there some way to all complain and make some kinda change???

A mass complaint to Org ownership? Srsly?

I'd wager it's easier (less expensive in that time=money) to ban everyone signed on to that request, than to address their criticisms, however constructive.

What do you have in mind, Hustler?

I'm always up for a change if its for the best... maybe if we all brought to attention that at least 2 more moderators is needed in here due to the lack of order in here, we get a couple candidates and let the ppl speak... jusy suttn of the top, may not be a good idea but I'm willing to try

Was that transition during like a months time of having issues getting to the org?... I even tried googling the place and it didn't show up, and all the links went to a "page can't be displayed" page

Hmm. And there we are, listed right above My350Z.com:

http://www.internetbrands.com/our-brands/automotive/

OK. Then who is DanNY? An InternetBrands employee? What's the source of his authority and his, um, let's say his particular idiom?

You too, apparently. If I haven't said it before, I'm liking having you around.

Dan's posts suggests there is more than a volunteer effort involved. Is there an income associated with his position? How about the other Mods?

So much history I'm in the dark about. Should have joined when I had my '99 SE, 11 years ago.

I don't know the details of the politics, but either way, it is what it is. The org has changed, there's still tons of info, some good discussion, and the occasional annoyance, but it's the internet, it happens.

Yup. Can't argue with that. I'd rather have the Org the way it is, than not at all.
