Lighting upgrade!!! leds front and rear

So today while I was strolling through my local Autozone, I came across these edge mounted led strips. I wanted an easy way to add the audi style leds to my car, but did not want to bake the lights or anything. So, I bought a pack of white and red leds, and this is what I ended up with. What do you fellow orgers think?
front headlights

closer view of headlights

Now to the rear, Thought this would look cool at night when the brakes are applied.

Closer look

Looks good. I think it might look better if you put the LEDs in the tail lights around the brake and signal lights. Kind of in a circle.

No.

I understand the psych of introducing small (affordable) visual mods that feed your hobby. But there have to be better ways to do it than this.

The best mods are the details that you see, not everyone else. The kind that blend in with normal traffic. IMO, visual mods should be personal. Certainly never something that catches a cop's attention as out of the ordinary.

Yes! That's a great idea. (Under-hood lighting, not the OP's ricer mod.)

I've always wanted a light under the hood of the Maxima. I wonder if there are write-ups?

This is interesting, and inexpensive, but I was thinking of something more integrated. With maybe a mercury switch.

I like to have to point my mods out to other people, rather than have them see and ask about them.

Thanks for all the comments. Well, I have the day pics. As for the cops, I'm not that worried about them because I dont have the need to speed, and it helps that I know over half of the squad in my town.

Well, you know my opinion on the light when lit. But I have to say this, they're stealth during daytime. And that's cool.

I like the head lights... Are they retro? I'd like to change my GXE head lights to HID or the projector with Halo's like yours.... Nice set up.....

I am kinda disappointed man, you forgot to pick-up the chrome doortrim when you were there...

...the headlights aren't terrible but the LED's by the tail lights remind me of the old 80's movie Short Circuit when "Johnny 5" was angry...lol.

I'll go against the grain and say I like the front. Was a little worried how conspicuous it was in the day time, but it seems to be hidden well.

The rear...not so much.

Sooner, I think the average age in the 5th gen forum is getting younger every year. That would explain a great many things, actually.

and how old are you and what mods do you have?? So I can know how I should properly mod my maxima compared to someone significantly older than I am?

It's a poor photo, but your point is a good one.

I agree that as cars get older, they get more younger drivers and more riced out... however, there are exceptions to the theory. I'm 23, and I have yet to hear my car is "riced".

Good taste is not an exclusive trait of experience, in the same way that poor taste is not exclusive to younglings. It just seems to work out that way most of the time.

Zero, you've got good judgment when it comes to style. Soupcan exhaust tip, notwithstanding.

That, and black is a great equalizer.

I was looking at your photo album. Is that an old picture?

You know, just the other day, I saw a modded Toyota Celica in my neighborhood. He had one of those large, single-tip exhausts, which I normally don't care for at all. But this guy had one on both corners! Somehow, having 2 of them made it look, well, kind of cool. Very aggressive.
