Front bumper replacement?
Front bumper replacement?
I was wondering how hard it was to replace the front bumper yourself?
I have a 2001 SE, with a damaged front bumper. I have looked around and the prices seem to be fair, but how would I go about painting it the color of my car "pewter" ?

Also, is there a kit either by a company like scosche, where you can install a GPS unit and media center in the dash trim?

1. Replacing the bumper is pretty self explanatory. Its just a bunch of poptabs and screws really not that difficult if you can get it off. just download the Factory service manual, its in there.
2. Go about painting it by taking it to a body shop and get a bunch of estimates.. best i can think of.
3. I say go for the double din with nav in it...and yes they have a double din kit for our maxima

I recently replaced the front bumper on my Maxima and I found it to be very easy. All you really need to do is get all of the screws and taps off before trying to take it off. Some of the poptaps can be really fragile and a real pain to get out, so some patients is required. I replaced my bumper in about an hour and a half. Good luck (:
