Tokico Illumina
I was wondering what the best place to buy some Tokico Illumina's from. I have searched ebay and such and the best price i could find is 500 even. Does that seem like a good deal?
If anyone knows a good place to order them from please let me know, looking to order them soon.

I looked, can you order all for of them in a kit? I saw that the front 2 were 200 each and the rears 1 hundred something. Am I just being dumb or does the price go down allot after you type in the MAXIMA code?

well its kinda hard to say...I would undoubtedly go for the illuminas, I mean they are 5 way adjustable so they can adjust to the spring rate better then the blues. However personally i think it really comes down to what kind of drop your looking at and what you plan to get out of your suspension. If you just want an OEM replacement and a VERY mild drop, then you could get by and save the money and get blues. But if you want better performance(make struts stiffer or softer) and want a lower drop then definitely go for illuminas.
I still say Illuminas FTW!!

Illuminas for sure. The adjustability helps especially when matched with aftermarket springs. Even if you never change it again, just matching the dampening to your preference once will be worth it as opposed to being stuck with one setting. Not to mention, if you go to different road conditions, you can change them if needed.

I have HP blues with HR springs. The front doesn't drop as much as I like them to. But it does handle better vs stock. If I have a chance to go back, I would spent a little more to get Illuminas.

I wanted a nice drop but I don't wanna have to be worrying about scraping my lip every were, and when I ordered them there was no left rear or right rear it was just rear so I ordered two of them I hope that's what I was suposed to do. Also do they include everything needed to install them?

I honestly have no idea, I just remember reading somewhere that they warranty up to a 1.5 drop. May or may not be true. But they would not have any way of being able to tell what kind of springs you were using.

I will do that, I am having a tuning shop do the installation and they are gunna tune my car at the same time so hopefully I will be really happy with all the parts and work.

i had h&r on stock struts for years and was just waiting for some type of suspension failure as an excuse to change to the illuminas. well i finally did and the huge regret i had. . . . . . NOT DOING IT SOONER!!! seriously its a totally different car. glad ou got them and to anyone else contimplating the illuminas. . . .you would have to be crazy not to spend the extra in any case if you are already replacing. i dont care if your not even lowered or have stock rims still worth every extra penny!
it brought back my love for pushing on her again as she justs sticks to the road so much better and even breaks better. ha ha made the ol ball and chain really fun again ha ha i like 3f 5r for sririted highway cornering type driving. its really the best setting for good or even decently paved streets. But here in dallas there are some nasty streets! like jersey is not known for its great roads but seriously a lot of these streets here in dallas would be closed in jersey! ha that reason if im headed into the city i change to the extreme and go 2f 3r for city or should i say mine field driving. otherwise with my nineteens i have to go so slow or you get too beat up.
point being i dont have to be stuck with any one particular ride quality. love them and would highly recommend or even demand if your already replacing you must get these. how could you not. i read so many threads before purchase and tried to determine the question everyone asks, are they worth the extra? lol well my answer, hell yes!!!!! wish someone would have just put it out there as i just did cause i love them and may have bought them even sooner.
ok enough ill get off my soap box now ha ha ha congrats on the new purchase and new feeling car

I ordered my Illuminas from Import Car Parts Plus, who is a member here, and had a decent buying experience: http://www.importcarpartsplus.com/maximasuspension.htm ... looks like his price went up though.
Agreed with the only regret being that I didn't do that sooner. I scored H&R springs used from a member who wanted more drop for a song, that was nice.

I am also about to purchase a set of these shocks but when i visited this site that everyone is recommending, i find it difficult to navigate. it would be helpful to know how many people have purchased from this store
