Hi all, I am new to this board.

I have ordered a 6 Spd SE back in Oct. and specifically requested a Dec Prod. (HLSD). According to my dealer, now I have a choice between two Max's, Black (Dec/Jan), Sterling Mist (Jan/Feb) or wait longer for other colors. None of these colors are my first choice which is Glacier Pearl. The black is cool but I do live in snowy country. All of you know how hard it is to keep a black car clean.

Which Max should I take?

The have pearl white looks very nice. But sterling mist looks just as good, should be even easier to take care of, plus you won't have to wait.

...the black cars have some paint quality issues

It's all opinion tho, go with what you want.

 

I own a 2001 Black SE and am not happy with the paint or the amount of time I have to spend washing it. It's a dust magnet...if I had a choice to pick another color I would go wih Sterling Mist. Plus it looks better when it's tinted.

yeah I agree with you, but you know what, I love the black color though. Even though it is a pain in a behind to keep clean, when it is clean, it is AWESOME!

You get crazy looks, especially since I completely blacked out my SE tails. Now it is just pureblack from the back
