how to remove fuel pump from sending unit?

how to remove fuel pump from sending unit?
k, so i have the sending unit out and basically opened up. i can see the fuel pump inside a plastic covering but i cant figure out how to remove it. any help?

nvm i got it , another stupid question is the fuel filter located on the bottom of the fuel pump?
