Clutch Problem 01 Max

Was driving and all of a sudden the pedal got soft. Did research on here and started by changing the slave cylinder hose, bled the lines and still soft pedal until the mid-point. Theres also squeeking from the slave cylinder.

Could this be a bad slave or master cylinder or something else I'm missing?

Thanks in advance

I had a similar problem in mine and took it to the shop. They replaced the entire assembly...

pressure plate is on its way out. i have the same problem. im getting ready to fork out money for a whole new clutch.
..and im getting that "squeaking" sound too when i push the clutch in as well. cant complain though. its the original clutch from 2000 and my car has just hit 140k.

140K on my 2K2 as well. at idle, I hear the squeaking noise and when I push the clutch in, the squeak goes away. It's been doing this for the last few years. I also have the original clutch and pressure plate.
