Racingline took measurements a few weeks ago. We've been waiting on news since then regarding development and prototype fitment.

In other words, you're not late. Someone (me?) will collect all these member ID's and notify you when (if?) the RSTB becomes available.

That's great news. Still looking forward to it.

Come on back when you're ready and let us know how the first fitment goes.

If you had a package deal for both the fstb and rstb I'd definitely be in.

I bought a "CustomMaxima" fstb but it's actually the same exact one you can get off ebay for $30 shipped. I'm going to return it and follow this thread as well as keep my eye out for an original CustomMaxima or Cattman one in the classifieds. Good luck with the rstb!

I have sent two emails the last couple of weeks to find how things are going and have not gotten a reply. Last I knew we were waiting for the prototype to be made. I had left my trunk liners out and sitting in their shop to make things a bit quicker to do final fittings & install.

Maybe to walk around and get ideas... but Racingline Performance isn't on the exhibitor list.

I had this loose plan (based on nothing what-so-ever) about getting this RSTB installed before winter.

Damn, sucks this isn't in the works yet. Practically the one mod that isn't done on my car is a FSTB because I can't get my hands on a cattman bar and I refuse to put any of those cheap looking eBay ones under my hood. Hopefully this gets done eventually.

I share your impatience, but it certainly is "in the works". What it isn't yet, is in our trunks. (sad)

I've gone 8+ years without a RSTB, so I can wait a little longer.

There are several fabricators on the sr20 forums that might have an interest in this.. They have built rear bars for the b13 chassis... Both the simple horizontal and the X design. Posted on the build thread of an alternate design that might be feasible

Yeah I'm talking about a RSTB and a FSTB. Somewhere in this thread they were talking about creating a nice FSTB also. That's something I'm definitely interested in, all the ebay ones are practically silver toothpicks.

What are you talking about? That's how this started... because of this FSTB right here:

Whether or not they have any in stock is another question entirely.

Guys, I tried my best last year to get this project going. And after an overwhelming amount of interested here, I was thrilled to see Racingline Performance get on-board. We even hooked MerlotMax up with Racingline for measurements as a test-car.

It was pretty exciting there for a while. And then... nothing. (crickets) The months ticked on by, frustratingly silent. I don't have any strong feelings about this towards Racingline Performance. They're a decent shop, with high-quality parts. I can only assume this project wasn't worth the effort, and that's fine. Stuff happens.

So when Roy parted out his Sin City Max just before last winter, I took the opportunity to purchase his Stillen RSTB. The price was right, and the quality is what you would expect from Stillen: excellent. All along here, my biggest complaint about the Stillen RSTB was the outrageous price - not the quality. I wasn't disappointed.

Anyway, I'm bumping this thread in case anyone here wants to take the ball and run with it. But I'm done. I've got a RSTB in my trunk, and I'm very content with the way the upper strut bar compliments the handling benefits of the lower Rear Sway Bar.

Good luck, guys.

Can you believe it... since I bumped this thread back to life yesterday, the Polling just went up a few more votes for "Yes, I'm interested!"

I can only wonder if Racingline is watching. That's amazing.

It would seem like they weren't watching at all. Or they didn't have faith in the 60+ people who claimed too want one.

I'm not sure of the real numbers but I don't know if all 60 would pony up the cash at crunch time. Maybe they weren't either.

I am still trying to get together with RacingLine to get this going again. Did not think I would have my car this weekend, other wise I was going to try to get together. I notice that they have added some new items for the 7th gen.

Hang in there, should be able to get it back on line soon.

Good for you, MerlotMax! I really hope it works out for you guys.

Heck, if the bar is a must-have, I'll sell my Stillen and hop back on-board.

I'm surprised that this didn't get made back nine months ago when you started this thread Rochester. It seemed to generate a lot of interest. I'm still in for one and I hope it ends up getting made sooner than later.

It's MerlotMax's ball to run with now. Well, him and Racingline.

Actually, Racingline owns the ball. Meh... too many metaphors.

I would be down but I already bought the stillen rstb like 2 years ago. I will say that it did help though, definitely nice to have considering how horribly our cars handle.
