!Please HElp!Exaust Q's??

I was going to replace my y-pipe with cattman Y. But cattman sent me the wrong pipe. But while I had my stock Y-pipe out I took out that honey comb thing on the end of the pipe. Now My car says check engine. What do I do to get rid of that? I'm I ok to drive like that?
Thanks.

Disconnect your battery

for about ten minutes, that should reset the dummy light.

If your still there, some have said to leave it disconnected for an hour, but 10 did it for me. Sorry I didn't add earlier.

So you removed the front pre-cat? That will cause a check engine light and it will not go away. Put that back on and get the right cali spec y-pipe you need.
