Tonight I took a little road trip to a place known for some great street races. I wrecked a bunch of hooked up golfs civics, Jettas. The races worth noting are as follows.

97-99 Stock Automagic Maxima, I beat him by about 3 - 4 cars up to 85MPH.

Pontiac GTP, I beat this guy by about 3 cars up to 90MPH. It had real good low end power but it bernt out around 55MPH.

Lexus IS300, He had a exaust and maybe some other stuff, I beat him twice by about 1/2 - 1 car lenght up to 85-90 MPH. Each time he jumped a good full car length off the start and then I sucked him in preatty good at the top of 2nd then I whould just barely pull on him in 3rd.

94ish Mistubish Turbo eclipse with what seemed to be sooped up preatty good, I heard the BOV screaman and he had a big exaust system. He beat me by about 1 car length up to 90MPH.

So far for mods my Max has 52 Pound bald 17 inch rims{Kills my Launches!}, Busted rear heated o2 sensor, Stillen Intake,RT cat, Stillen Cat-back exaust, Stillen Alluminum Flywheel, Stage III piece of crap CenterSLIP Clutch. I can't wait until the next few weeks because I have a UDP on order, NZ headers and a Gforce ECU. I am also looking to buy some very light weight rims. Until next time!

The IS300 had one skiney little guy in the car and I had a 150 pound friend sitting shot gun. My max is a real dog off the line too because my 52 Pound rims and completly bold tires. Read my post again, I included all my mods in the last perograph. BTW I am loosing a G-tech tested 0.8 seconds from 0-60 with my heavy 17's when compared to my oem 15's. I am going to get some nice lightweight rims in the future.

Yep, I decided to get rid of the 98 I30 and invest all the money in some mutual funds and eventually in a house or something. My 95 maxima is getting really hooked in the next few months. I just ordered a UDP and I am ordering NZ Headers on monday, I am also going to get a GForce ecu very soon. But wait that's not all , In a few months my max is getting painted most likely M3 Blue and a Sarona body kit will be fitted. This is going to be fun!

I think he has some Chrome 17s... 52 lbs for rims+tires is very realistic, I think I had chrome Giovanna 17's that weighed around 56

I just re-weighed my rims "on a flat surface" and found out they only weigh 45 pounds with tires, not to bad if you ask me. I think I am just going to keep them for a while now.

I just posted over there.

I am going to put the I30 in for $17,500, hopefully I will get atleast 17K for it. There is only one other 5spd in the area and it's at a dealer and costs $22,000! Hopefully someone in my area want's a 5spd I30.

A stock 95-96 5spd max should just barely beat a "stock" IS300. A 97-99 5spd max should be about dead even with a good driver in the max and the IS.

The IS 300 I raced had some exaust mods and maybe more? I should have beaten him a little more but my car was starting to really heat up from the other 10 races that night so my clutch was slipping a bit. Next weekend I will try to find him in the beginning of the night . I should have my UDP in by then too!
