Having my Eibach springs replaced under warranty after only two years on the Max
My Eibach springs (with Tokico Illuminas) were only on the Max for 40K miles or so and our mechanic at work inspected my entire suspension system and told me my springs had softened and were sagging. I was complaining of a very rough ride the past 6 months or so. Tomorrow I'm getting a new set directly from Eibach. Has anybody experienced this at all?

Eibach looked up my receipt and told me that I can go down to their Corporate office in Corona, pay my price for the springs, get the springs swapped out, box up the defective ones, call to get an Return Authorization #, drop them back off at Eibach. They will then test all 4 springs (I know the front 2 are bad and the rears are almost there), determine which ones are defective and credit my credit card either the entire amount or partial depending on how many are defective. I should be able to pick them up tomorrow or Friday. They were "temporarily out of stock" when I made my claim.

Picked up my new springs directly at Eibach this morning. Having them installed first thing tomorrow morning. I'll post up before and after pics of the install plus the bad springs.

I've never heard of a spring for our cars, especially Eibach's softening or sagging.
Your mechanic did realize that he was looking at aftermarket sport, lowering springs???

I will post the results tomorrow when they are swapped.
Boom - I'm swapping the springs out because they are defective. My Tokico Illuminas, bushing, etc were all checked out and were fine. Springs were sagging.

Update...
I had the springs swapped yesterday and adjusted my Tokico Illuminas to 1 in the front and left the rear at 5 (it was 5F 5R before). It was like driving a new car. Driving on the 10 freeway with all the misaligned bridges and pot holes, the suspension worked flawlessly. No bottoming out at all. I called up Eibach this morning and got my RGA# and I'm returning all 4 defective springs tomorrow morning for credit.

seems they really stand behind their product lucky for you your in corona lol. seems they should have allowed you to drop them back off and credit you on the spot, but i guess it is what it is.... congrats on getting it fixed.

He also told me any Eibach distributor in the U.S. can take them back and issue you an RGA#

Eibach just called me and told me the front and back springs were over 1mm off spec and will warranty them and credit my credit card for the new ones I just purchased.
