TRENZ Grills for 2000-2k1 Maximas! If interested READ!

Kev, make this a Sticky please!

Guys, I am talking with Manny at Trenz Grills who makes the nice one on the 4th gen Maxima and has that new grill on the Silver Altima that is made for Stillen.

This is the point. He will make us one like on the Altima for the Maxima and possibly a lower one as well. We need enough people interested in this grill and I am pretty sure we can get enough people interested. He said he needs at least 20 min. people interested before he makes one and the 20 people most likely will have to pay up front for the 1st set to at least get it made. We will find out more details if we have people interested like cost, etc. He will need to either RENT a Maxima in there area, or someone with a 2000-2001 Maxima can come by his shop so he can use it to work on.

There shop is located in 3301 Unicorn Road, Bakersfield, CA 93308.

Once we get enough people and if your interested to let them use your car to make one, please reply here. I will show him the link of how many are interested in the grill so this will make them want to make one!

This grill will make the Speedgrill look like crap!

So if your interested REPLY! And give us your best ideas on what you would like to see, and if you would buy one for sure! And if you would also like the valence as well!

So lets do it!

How about the 2k2 Max

Are they similar in size and all? Is there a difference from the 00-01 to the 02?

Dunno exactly. But you know ours has that little space between the grill and the bumper. It might go from edge to edge and over our current grill and be even all around. Not sure I don't design them! heheheh

I'm interested in the billet type on the silver Altima. Mostly interested in the main grill and maybe the bottom opening. Just have to see a mock up of it on the maxima first. Just let me know.

I totally agee. That silver altima's grill looked sweet and IMO it would look even better in gunmetal or smoked chrome of some sort. Just like the MAXIMA logo on the back of our cars.

If the cost is reasonable and you don't have to cut(in a major way) the car or ooglie zip tie anything, then I'm in.

NEW UPDATE GUYS!

We have made it on the list for PRODUCTION! The eta of start production date is JAN, 2002! So be ready around that time for a good GROUP DEAL for these grills!

He will give us Grill choices once they get a car to look at. He said he can do 3 types of grills for us most likely. One polished, one just alum, one gun metal or black if we wanted one. He will know more then. They also might have options as one to replace the grill and one to go over the grill. Factory Grill I mean.

Thanks to you guys you just made the demand for our cars get us on that list to have these made! He will know prices in Jan sometime.

Still REPLY if you are interested since they are MONITORING this post to see actually how much interest there is.

They can also make one grill like the Altima one, but they did not actually make the orange on on the Altima. They made the one on the actual Silver Altima I posted which looks cleaner to both of us.

I would probably be in also... They should also make a lower valance. Also, have matching ones for the factory fog holes. that would be PERFECT because no one else has those available.

I like the idea of the grill in gunmetal or black. If I remember all previous grill threads, removing the stock grill requires full removal of the front bumber and then cutting the grill out. I'm not so interested in doing this. If a cover can be made which looks good, I might go for this.

I, personally, do not like the polished chrome frame.

I'm in!

If it doesn't require cutting the stock one and looks anywhere near as HOT as the silver Altimas'. I'm not sure if I like the surrounding piece, but I definitely like the horizontal billet look over the Remington shaver grill. I'm interested in the valence too.

What's the typical price on one of these? It would be SWEET if it happens to be in the $200-300 range for CHROME.

Good job RUSS!
