Possible for me to rebuild my rear calipers?

So I went to do my rear breaks last night and like every time I try and fix something on my car I just feel like Tim Alan from home improvement and screw something up. The boots are bad is there a way for me to pop out my pistons and replace my boots?

I have rebuilt several calipers in my day for motorcycles but they are all the kind you just compress with a c-clamp not the twist type I tried twisting out my piston last night only to find that when it gets to a certain point the little cube device doesnt fit any more..... now what? I tried using a plyers by griping around the piston and turning but its kinda hard to do.

Any ideas I just put a ton of money into other crap on my car I would prefer to not have to buy new calipers but if I have to I have to i guess.

So the reason you want to do a rebuild is for the broken boots around the piston or the fact that you cannot compress the piston anymore? That being said I would say that if you cannot compress the piston anymore even with a set of pliers I would get a remanufactored set. If the broken boot is the only problem maybe you can try to rebuild with a kit to save some money.
