Oh yeah. I like to peak up top too, weird. Yeah, ub3r SRI seems to make some power up top. Although, when I peaked at 5600, I was not ssim'd yet. My latest on I'm still making 225whp @ 7100 RPM.

I can't wait til I dyno my current set-up, hopefully later this week.

SSIM tuned properly gives this. What's that like 24whp @ stock red line.

I made this myself. But I never had it installed. Money was tight last year so it was sold to another guy. I am in the process of building another one. The tube is 80mm ID and 17" long. also has a velocity stack and the larger filter. Plus I have a better design in mind this time around. No dynos, just a quick little test and video then my normal sri was put back on.

I bought that coupler on ebay, 3 to 3-1/2 IIRC

This is pre 3" catback...Sorry, I see the date and the comment about you next dyno.....Hope your next dyno #'s will be thru the roof Nmex! Your setup had really good Wtq reading all the way thru it's powerband!!!!

Really the only additional mods will be the 3", MWP spacers and the different intake )POP style), so we shall see how it turns out. I plan on Saturday say 3 runs or so, maybe some minor AFR conditioning.

Breaking 200whp before 4500 RPM is a good thing.

That shouldn't be an issue, I do need to get some spacers also.... see if that helps with my mysterious dip in dyno... I am using a 4th gen intake so that was suspect (even though I'm using a 4th gen headers technically )

I'd leave well-enough alone until you have other mods that could benefit from a more optimized approach for air. Specifically, a new exhaust.

The only mod list I've seen to date where things are "in the mail". I'm going to laugh at that one a little bit, sorry.

Keep the Stillen, as I sated earlier it's the best design for this car. I have one on both my 4th and 5.g gen.

And I too have 4th gen Cattman headers on my car also.

So after all this then i think i will keep the stillen. I am punching myself right now because i seen used 4th gen cattman headers for sale by me a while back. The guy didnt want much for them, i should have picked them up... oh well

putting the helmholtz box back on made the car much quieter and the acceleration is much smoother. I dont feel a lag in the upper rpms anymore.

Yeah noticed a flat spot in the acceleration during the 2>3 gear change when I was running the Injen Intake, but once I installed the Helmholtz and 6" velocity stack the acceleration no longer exhibited any hesitation nor flat spot in the acceleration.....It was much more responsive to throttle tip in and more audibly refined.....

Why so you need a MAF adapter. Looks like your filter fits on without one

Hustle do you have a velocity stack or just the filter on the MAF?

**Can anybody provide insight on what I plan to do?

I wanna keep the helmholtz resonator, use a reducer to clamp the LR MAF to it, and then bolt up the JWT velocity stack/filter.

My issue is, will I actually realize the power gains of running a larger MAF sensor even though there's no change in filter/v.stack diameter?
