volume control...

soo ive had my car for a while yet it hasnt bothered me untill now... im driving and i want to lower/turn up the volume for the stock stereo. the controls on my steering wheel only work when they want too and the same with the *** on the console! what can i do to fix this?! and the power seat only decides to move up on the front part not the back? could it be the fuse?

Shouldn't be the fuse, typically when they pop, they pop wide open, there's no "sometime" connection.

I was going to say your steering wheel switches could be going bad, but with the console **** also intermittent, I dunno, sounds like a problem within your headunit itself.

i agree with blackmacks. a fuse wont cause an intermittent problem.

pull the radio and check the wiring. same for the seats. start simple and work from there

I have the same problem, volume **** doesnt change volume, but I dont have steering wheel control so I cant tell if that works

Your volume control on your OEM HU is an adjustable resistor that may have gone out. Though it is a rare occurance but does happen since it is a moving part.
