Headlights Out

I just got my car back after a family member had it for about 1.5 years and the left headlight is out. I have a '02 and wanted to know if I had to swap out the whole head lamp. I have searched but most of the info is on a HID swap or replacement.

You do not have to replace the entire headlight assembly. You replace a bulb.
.
There are 2 styles of low beam leadlamps.
If you have HID leadlamps, the bulb is type HID-D2R.
If you have halogen capsule headlamps, the bulb type is H1.
.
The high beam headlamp bulb is type 9005.
