Tire size

Got a great deal on set of used Blizzak tires with only 2,500 miles on them. They are size 215/60/17 while stock size is 225/50/17. Will there be a fitment issue. I don't want any rubbing. Otherwise I, put them on my SUV.

Thanks,

Robert

They will fit OK. The rolling diameter is about 5% bigger, so your speedometer will read slower that you are actually going by 5%.

Thanks guys. Are you speaking from persona experience? I need to make sure so I don't spend the $100 to balance & mount. Who else used tire size 215/60/17 on their 02 SE?

Regards,

Bob
