Tranny issue?

So my third and fourth gear slide out of gear like butter when I shift. Unlike 1,2,5 that are kinda notchy when you take it out of these gear. Also sometimes my fourth gear pops out of gear while driving. How come third and fourth are so easy and not notchy like the others? Just had my tranny rebuilt a few months ago. It's at the shop where they rebuilt it and the guy calls and says he cannot duplicate the fourth gear popping out. But once again why are these two gears so easy and doesn't feel like they lock in place like the others?

I would try and find out what type of fluid is in you transmission. If it is too thick you may see these symptoms. I had my trans. replaced and the shop put in too thick of fluid and it felt notchy and didn't want to go into second. Once I hit 3rd it seemed to be fine. I had the correct fluid installed and now all gears shift like butter.
