Nothing special, just though some might want to hear what a 5.5 sounds like under load with headers and a cut-out.

Ah! I can't see it on my phone! Interested to hear how it sounds..

What'd you put down? Or is it 233 like you listed in your sig?

It put down 233. I'm not even sure what gear, because I was way more interested in the shop getting the air/fuel curve dialed in. I forgot to have him do a 3rd gear pull.

Good question. I was wondering that myself. But, at least my air/fuel curve is right.

He probably didn't wanna get on it too soon to keep the transmission from downshifting, and considering this is not a Maxima specific shop (is there even such a thing?) he was testing the threshold for the 4AT shift logic so you didn't get a loopy WHP/TQ curve.

3400 rpm is where you need to floor it to not get a downshift IIRC..........

You can floor it in second and get a pull from ~2800rpm and starting at about 32mph without it downshifting... So that's the best gear to tune in... if you wanna tune a bit lower than 3rd allows.

in an auto you would want to dyno it in 3rd as you get your most accurate readings in 3rd

Ah, I see... I guess I'm thinking more of street tuning, where 3rd would take you up over 100mph... Still... Even for street tuning AFR, you'd want to do it in 3rd if possible??
