My understanding is the 5th gens require an actual ECU swap to get the auto to 5-speed to work. Now my question is, do the harnesses hook into the new ECU the same way? I'm trying to avoid a wiring nightmare since I have a Greddy EU wired in also. Also would my keys require re-programming?

You dont need the ECU. I'm using my same auto ECU in mine.
